fwiw, here's their facebook page ~ https://www.facebook.com/Blispay/ where i found the 2 articles pertaining to them.
'glad people here are speaking up about their thoughts. my newb self was really excited about it. lolz. i guess i really gotta slow my roll.
This is really interesting and exactly how well that it progresses going forward is anyone's guess at the moment but it should prove pretty exciting.
Curious new introduction to say the least and one that personally i'm quite happy to sit out and see what becomes of it.
The apps (and approvals!) are flying

Please don't let my pessimism on this discourage you... all any of us can do is speculate, and obviously Blispay doesn't have any chances of success unless folks give them a try. It would actually please me very much for a small company to 'distrupt' the current model, somewhat like what T-Mobile is doing to the mobile phone market.
I'm really just 'thinking out loud' here... like I mentioned before I actually hope they know stuff I don't (which is very likely) and they end up very successful.
Meh, if UCI accepted credit card payments outside of Extension/Summer, I'd just go use this card to cover the short-term cash flow issue instead of a HELOC.
Depending what limits look like I may do it anyway, 6 months 0% on $199 for pretty much anything (Visa being accepted pretty much anywhere that takes credit cards at all) is pretty neat just simple time value of money wise, and that's before the 2% rewards.
Need to do some research and a bit of math, maybe I don't want the Chase FU seeing this.

I don't think it will last, and with other equivalent options out there with more flexibility on the rewards (can save up or use later), don't see the big excitement. Financing is nice, otherwise, meh, IMO. But yes, seems like it will definitely be short lived.
I know there is psychological factors, but getting automatic payments without any effort really is as good as it gets (like Penfed Cash Rewards say), so I don't count this against them.
Applied on-line today. (garden gate was unlocked) Simply made account, listed cell number.
Application was SS#, address and submit (may have put in income).
Received SL of 7.5K. Immediately paid an insurance payment (slightly over $100 to test card) and went through with virtual card available on site. Just earned 2% and can let the balance ride for up to 6 months.
App spree lately so 10+ inquries all reports. No alerts for new inquiries from any monitoring services as of yet (myFICO, CCT, Credit Sesame, Credit Karma, Experian, Equifax, Cap1 (trying out a bunch of monitoring services). Scores 775-795 all reports, no missed payments.
Hoping it works out for Blispay
1 Experian HP for the card FYI

slightly over $100 ONLY and you can carry for 6 mos? i thought it was required to be over $199??
Good catch, you are completely correct. I did the post of just over $100 to test the service. I was planning to pay this off right away so did not make the transaction above $199.
Thanks for the clarification, don't want to confuse others with my incorrect information!
