I open secured capital one early Jully 2010

On September (2 weeks ago )apply for Orbitz from Capital One approved for 500

Last week i call CS to close the secured one (balance 189, credit limit 200). CS told me that  since i still have a balance, i should keep paying, I agree )

Today when I try to pay off the balance online, i saw no balance !!, available credit 200, balance  (-11) , i call CS, they told me that my secured deposit already applied to my balance, and i have 200 available credit , and my credit is no longer secured !! OMG i m so SHOCK, instead close the account, they unsecured mine.

I got to give this a try. I been contemplating on closing my secured cap one card then apply for another unsecured CC with them. I just recently been approved for their cap one cash back mastercard for a higher limit than my secured card. Maybe if I call them, they can a unsecured CLI to my secured card to match my cash back mastercard.
