Hi, I opened a Citi Forward card back in Nov and today I clicked on the request a CLI link on citi.com. It asked how much I want to increase, and my income. I asked for a $1200 increase but was only given $800, if I want more I would have to call and a hard pull is possible. Should I call or should I keep the CLI?

I would be happy with it than call back in 6 months and ask for another CLI until they say NO.
When you got the form did it ask for the CLI amount, your employer, and your income? Then at the bottom there was a disclosure that said your CB may be pulled and you hit "Submit"? And you are sure that they did not hard pull a report? Curious about this 'cause I have always called in on my requests, never got a CLI from online.
Thanks!

Yes, it did. Yes, on the confirmation page, it says "a copy of your credit report was not pulled." I also checked my EX, TU, and EQ, no hard.

When can you get your first cli on a new citi card?
Your account has to be opened for six months or they will denied your CLI request (I learned it the "hard" way.) get it??
I asked a CSR today while on the phone asking about some reward details.. she told me I could apply for a CLI at anytime but strongly urged me to wait at least 3 months from when your account opens. I wonder if I should wait 6 months now..

I am 99.9% sure it's 6 months. I tried requesting for a CLI just last month and was denied because the account is "too new". Also I am sure I can't apply for another CLI for another 6 months.
yeah i'm going to wait the 6 months. I hate being declined...
This is interesting...
Even a week ago when I hit the CLI link for Citi it has told me to call in for CLI request.
Today after I read this, I checked the link and it now asks "Increase Credit Line by..." income, occupation, and name of employer, and says By submitting this form you authorize Citibank (South Dakota), N.A. to check your credit history.
Can anyone else who previously got the call-in message (AKA it would be a soft pull) verify that it has changed in the last week. Is this form the same as the old hard form, or is it now soft, as the OP is saying?
