Cap One Preapproval

So I get an invitation to apply that says I've moved on from my previous credit issues and am asked to apply by 5/26 for instant approval.  It was worded as preapproval letters always are like I'm approved if I'd only apply and even says "We have the card you qualify for right now!".  I won't fall for this again.  I fell for this twice before, the last time being 6 months ago and the first I think 6 months before that.  Really irritating.
