Chase Ink Plus Denied - Recon time

Hi All,

I applied ink plus few hours ago and got pending. Then I called the recon line right away, and says I got denied. Reason is  I opened a Chase PC ($3400 CL) on the 20th, and a Chase Sapphire Preferred ($5000) on the 21st; and they would like to see me have a little bit more history with them before another card been added. Should I call another recon line in few hours to see if I get someone else? Or its not likely I'll be approved no matter how many time I tried??

I would give it some time. I have three Chase cards (CSP, Ink Cash and Ink Bold) and gave it a couple of months heavy usage between applications. If you bank with Chase it helps as they can see other financial as they run thru your accounts.

I guess your right, I did another recon before lunch, and was told, my credit history is too limited. I'll wait till end of next year, since this year is ending. Back to the garden I go.

It's probably for the best. Once Chase likes you though, they'll give you whatever you want.

No need to wait until end of next year, 4-6 months should be plenty. Of course gardening is THE BEST solution!
