My cc was stolen a couple days ago (some a** probably wrote down my cc number or something) and multiple transactions were made on my card. Most of the transactions were credited back to me but one credit still remains (yes, credit - the guy probably made a return or something the next day). Currently trying to get Chase to remove that credit so I can properly pay it down since I didn't want that charge suddenly haunting me in 5 years with late fees and interest attached....
But has that happened to anyone before? What'll happen if Chase doesn't remove that credit?
(Interestingly enough, one of the earlier charges was already credited back to me even without calling Chase so no idea what the guy was doing with my card...)
