Discover IT cash back ?

Curious which cash back option you do and why you think that option is better?  that save $50 cash back increments toward statement sounds nice but curious to hear the experts.  I know it depends on what's best for each person.

I personally do the statement credit it 1) it counts as a payment 2) its just easier than a gift card etc.  There has been talk about the relationship between $50 statement credit and auto luv from Discover (theres a thread somewhere).  I used a HP for my last CLI so I havent been able to test this theory yet, but this time I will be for sure.  Like you said it depends on each person but the statement credit is fast and easy so thats my go to option.

I've done the $25 pre paid discover card
I've done deposit into my bank account for $50

I have done statement credit and I have also used on on amazon for instant deduction, I think statement credit is easier
