First Premier/Centennial

Got a question... I want to apply for the Centennial card but I believe they are owned by First Premier.  I have a charge off from first premier due to fall off next year.  Do you think if i apply for centennial they will deny me due to this?  I also have a tax lien will they deny me for this?

Re: First Premier/Centennial

Have you tried a local credit union? A CU card, even if secured, beats anything from First Premie 58 ways from Tuesday, IMO.

A secured card will help build your credit history and you can generally convert at the end of a set period to unsecured as long as you've kept your payment history squeaky clean.

Re: First Premier/Centennial

I agree with the last post. Go get a secured card from your bank or CU. Stay as far away from First Premier AKA Centennial as you can! At least with a real secured card if you establish a good payment history with your bank they will refund your deposit and un-secure the card unlike first premier. What they advertise and actually do are two different things.
