Has anyone seen this card report as a credit card account? I got the hp but i do not see it reporting? Can i run this card up for free financing and not worry about uti?
Rumors say it will report to Experian only because that's what the Fry's card does and that issued by the same bank. But we'll probably know more over the next couple days as most of the first cardholders get their first statements.
@Gmood1 I need some clarification on the checking account.
Autopay for Northepoint Bank, is that the same as when I manually pay my cc monthly. Like Amex does a ACH transfer. Does that mean that or would I have to do it through the Northepoint side?
Also, If i generate 12-15k monthly. Is Northepoint better than Consumer Credit Union (CCU). It looks like Northpoint has a lesser spend than CCU, 500 vs 1k.
The text below after my answers are from their website. If you're averaging $10 to $15k in the account. One of the other Rewards Checking CU's may benefit you more. Typing from my phone, so excuse the goofy words.
1. I would assume since it's a ACH. Each CU/bank has there own rules though. Mainstreet Bank (MI) told me I could just do a monthly transfer from another bank account and it would be considered a direct deposit. I would call them to clarify.
2.Just about all CUs/banks now allow you to deposit by mobile.
Some hold the checks for 24 hrs and some give instant access. Definitely worth calling in to get it from the horse's mouth.
3.It's 15 swipes and a total of $500 spend with these guys.
Paying your bills by ACH could suffice.
4. I can't answer that question. The CU would have to confirm that this isn't an issue.
5. All if the CU's are linked one way or another. They have co-op systems. You can walk in a CU in Hawaii and make a deposit. It will be just like you walked into a branch in Michigan or where ever the main bank or CU us located.
Thus particular institution is a bank though. They may have a different type of network set up.Being they accept folks nationwide. They must have something in place.
UltimateAccount annual percentage yield (APY) is 5.00% on balances up to $5,000. Balances above $5,000 earn a simple interest rate of 0.10%, with a corresponding APY of 2.54%-5.00% APY. If qualifications are not met during the statement period, the full account balance will earn interest at 0.05% APY for that statement period. Qualifications include 15 or more debit card purchases in the aggregate amount of $500.00 or greater that post and settle per the statement period, enrollment in eStatements and direct deposit or automatic withdrawal of $100 or more per statement period. $100 minimum deposit required to open. No minimum balance requirement. APY is effective as of 05/08/2016 and has not changed since 12/19/2014. New accounts subject to approval. Rates are subject to change including after the account is opened.

Thanks for the reply. I will verify with them and start earning some money. Thank you so much for your response and info on this type of account. Who knew I could earn free money. LOL
No problem my friend! Anytime I can find ways for money to earn money..I get excited. Lol
Lake Michigan Credit Union could be a better option for you.
It's 3% but they pay you all the way up to that $15k. Also less hoops to jump through than North pointe bank.
OP, it's been 5-6 days now since you got your first Blispay statement; any sign of it on your reports yet?

I got my first statement last Friday .... Still no New Account Ding from any CRA ,,,, Since I've seen Creditors like Amex and others take 2 full Billing Cycles before Reporting, I've decided to give BP as long before delcaring it a Hidden TL.
My calculaions are that the Early Adopters will be on their 2nd Statement around Mid-June. So if no one comes forward by End of June with confrimation that BP is now reporting... I will consider it as Hidden TL until it starts reporting...
BML/PPCredit to this day still doesn't report. BP follows the same model .... Again I've always stated how do you Report every month to the CRAs when NO Payment is Due yet the account is carrying a Balalnce ... I've never seen it done.
