Great Target Card Customer Service

I was just reviewing my accounts online, when I noticed a Target charge (from December, and already paid for) that I didn't make! I don't know how I missed it previously. I might have forgotten to actually review the transactions before I PIFd. It was a central checkout (inside the store) charge at a location that's 1100 miles from where I live, and on the same day that I made an instore purchase at a Target in the city where I live, and where all my other Target purchases are from.

 

I called the number on the back of the card, and explained the situation. The CSR reviewed the account, transferred me to the Disputes Department where an agent explained that someone must have manually miskeyed a card with a rubbed off magnetic strip. She credited my account. No fuss, no muss. The entire call lasted no longer than 5 minutes, and there were no forms, etc...

 

That was easy. And, I like easy. Yay for Target.
