As of right now, Amex is not reporting either of my new cards with them the credit reporting agencies. (I just got them in January) My total available credit right now is at 14,700. I have read before that Amex reports different so I am curious....will my total available credit remain the same even when they hit or will it add the 5,500 and 2,400 credit limits to make the total available 22,600? Both of the Amex cards are revolvers so does it only report different for charge cards?
From personal experience, AMEX revolvers will report the same as any other credit line. It took 2 months for my first account to show up and over 1 month for the second--it just takes a litle time. Available credit increased with all 3 bureaus--so yes, you'll see it in time.
The only account I've seen show on my report quickly was a US Bank credit card that showed up after less than 4 days after the instant approval (I still don't even have the card in hand yet and it's been reporting for days).
Thanks!!

I just got my BCP in early Jan and it cut statement on 1/28/13. No reporting yet. My last two Amex cards, Zync and a Delta, started reporting 3 days after firat statement cut. Not sure what's up this time.
My Blue Sky cut on the 28th as well and as of today it is not reporting either. ![]()
