Kinda depressed about NFCU

To elaborate,

I was granted my CashRewards card (3k limit) in December 2012. Last week, I asked for a CLI to 7k, which was denied. I recieved my letter a few days later and it said "092 - Excessive Credit Obligations".

I don't get it. I make $90k/yr and I have rent and one car payment. I have a few other cards with $0 balances on them and I have 0 CA's now. I do have several CO's but they are all paid.

Thanks in advance.

How recent are the paid collections and did you try pay for delete instead of just paying them?

Re: Kinda depressed about NFCU

I don't have any CA's reporting. When I first got the card, I had 3-4 reporting.

You are expecting a lot if your FICO is accurate, but maybe you can just find a different lender to give you $7k.

If your scores are accurate you have to have some negatives on your credit report.
You need to concentrate your efforts on getting whatever it is off your reports if possible.
