Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

yes,  you have to be related or in the same household as a current active duty military member, Coast Gaurd, or DoD.  For those who qualify to join, they really can't be beat in terms of customer service, credit card products, and other consumer finance products..  They run some pretty awesome promotions as well, so its definately a good thing for those who are members.
