I just received a letter from Macy's asking if I wanted a Star Reward Platinum Visa. They didn't ask for my SS# all they wanted was my mothers maiden name and my John Hancock. I already have a Macy's Store Card with 3500 limit(received CLI of 2000, last month ) And I ready have a Target Visa. So, I have 2 questions: 1. Should I accept the offer? 2 . Is this a hard or soft inq?

I took the advice I was given on this Forum last week, and accepted macy's invitation.... I was just wondering if there was any benifit in asking Target Visa for a CLI? My last increase was 2006(200-6500)
