Hi all,
I have been rebuilding my credit and it has paid off..my credit is looking pretty good with no collections, no judgments, the only negative thing that I have left is some 90 day lates on my student loans back in 2009.
I currently have a ($200) secured card from capital one that I would like to get rid of. I was thinking of getting it replaced with another Capital One card The Quicksilver Visa
But I don't want to waste a hard pull for not reason, so I want to check with you guys before I apply to see how likely you think I am to get approved.
My oldest account is 10 years
My AAoA is 4 years
I recently opened a Discover, Nordstrom (this month) and Victoria's Secret card (back in May).
My credit scores as of July 14th Eq 687 Ex 667 and as of today TU 703 (this report includes my new UTL that I got down to 2% and my new line of credit with Discover).
Oh and I applied for the Citi TYP card but was denied because of the lates on my student loans and because an old collection agency HP my credit a while back
Or if anybody has any other recommendations I would be interested to hear them. Thank you in advance!
Really it depends on what you're looking for in a card. Those scores should get you some cards, depending on what your util is like, and your inq.
Are you pre-qualified for QS? Here's a link to check...
