Penfed Pre-Approval Not Showing Up

What is your relationship with Penfed?

I know that sounds silly, but it's important to build a relationship with them.  Show consistent deposits, don't overdraw your account, pay off your cc right away, add new products, things like that.   It's the same with any bank.  The more you do with them, the more they should like you.

I have a savings account with them where I transfer $25 every month. I also have a car with them, paid 5k in 10 months. I have an AMEX with them as well, CL is 5K, never charged more then 15% of credit limit and always PIF, a couple months I leave like 50-100 bucks and pay it off the following month. Yesterday was one year since I got their cash rewards visa - can anyone tell me if I apply for a CLI, will it be a soft pull or a hard pull?
