Can anyone tell me when BofA and Cap1 report to the CRA's. I paid both these off the beginig of May and am hoping this will have impact on util.

Re: Reporting

Both of these cards report the statement balance on the statement date for me.  Keep in mind it may take up to a couple of weeks for the CRAs to update even once the cards have reported.

Is the 23rd your statement date?  I would guess it is, since issuers don't (usually) report on the same date for everyone.  This is entirely a YMMV thing.

I said they report on the 23rd...FOR ME...that's why I put that in there...don't want to cause any confusion...maybe I shouldn't have posted anything...

I understand.  I'm not saying you shouldn't have posted anything.  Just wanted to avoid any confusion for subsequent people who may read this thread.

I would also like to elaborate that these creditors each report shortly within my statement date.

Though I have never tried this, and have no idea if it would work, you could ask for them to move your due date towards say, the first of the month if you really wanted them to report around that time frame.

Just to reemphasize though, I have no clue on whether the above statement would have any effect on a CC reporting date.
