The only card that puts money into your TD Ameritrade account

Introducing the TD Ameritrade Client Rewards Card

Credit card offers all seem the same. Some have rewards. Some have no annual fee. But none of them are as simple and straightforward as this one. With the TD Ameritrade Client Rewards Card, you earn 1.5% in rewards on all purchases, and a 10% bonus (1.65% in rewards) when you redeem your rewards for cash back into an eligible TD Ameritrade account. The more you use your card, the more you can earn.

I'm curious (and hoping) that AMEX's partnership with Charles Schwab produces a worthwhile card!

Re: TD Ameritrade Introduces Client Rewards

Yeah! Lots of speculation that it will be just like Fidelity AMEX - but I'm hoping they do just a little bit better. I would love to be able to keep my investments with CS, they have been nothing but good with me (checking, 401k, individual IRA - my roth is w/ Betterment right now as an experiment Smiley Happy )

Yes, not sure why there is a market for 1.5% cards.   QS is really good at this level, and an extra ,15% isn;t very interesting when, as you say, there is DC (and Fid Amex and other near 2% cards like NASA)

Truthfully, I just think that people don't pay attention to things that pertain to CC's (or finances in general). I suspect that this card will be pushed heavily (and received well!) with their brokerage clients. For those of us here - always chasing the next greatest card - we don't understand the market. However, these banks are smart enough to realize that most people ARE NOT like us, and that they can get away with (practically) murder.

...the term "sheeple" is pretty fitting here, I think.

Right, but remember the evil genius watching, thinking "Ah, the sheeple who think they are not sheeple are getting excited about 5+% cards while I continue to make billions by ...."
