To those thinking of applying for Discover It

[ Edited ]

Don't. Apply for the More instead.

First of all, the benefits of the card aren't all clear. It may be missing some perks that the Discover More offers.

Secondly, the It doesn't have a card builder function while the More still does. You can select your introductory benefits for the More, up to $200 in sign-up bonus,  through the following link:

Thirdly, you can easily switch from the More to the It if the latter proves superior with time.

That's all. Thanks for reading

/Edited: included the $200 sign-up bonus

Did you notice that this card builder took you to the old cards, i.e., non-It cards?

Does discover still allow for the application of the more card?  Rumor is they are moving all more card to the IT.

Yes. Probably not much longer though. Jump on the train while you still can.

According to Discover..you can switch back if you don't like the new rewards program.

The truth is out there...

Tradelines: Capital One QS NPSL (5.0k) | Discover IT (6.0k) | Walmart Mastercard (5.0k) | Chase Freedom NPSL (7.3k) | Citi Simplicity (9.3k)

For only so long as they are willing to accept new More accounts. Has anyone tried switching from the It to the More lately?
