I currently have about 96% Util on my Wells Fargo CC ($4K balance). Currently, this is my highest credit line. To make a long story short, I have had high Util on this card since it was opened just over 2 years ago. I will be able to bring this balance down to around $2K-$2.5K over the next month, but desperately want to avoid a CLD. Curious if others with Wells Fargo CCs have been CLD recently? My goal is to lower my overall Util %, and if they chase the balance as I pay it down, that would completely defeat that purpose.
I guess one strategy would be to pay down 500-750 and see if they CLD me.
