Does each CK update count as a soft INQ?

I just read about a split CR due to excessive softing, and since CK allows daily updating would each INQ be reported individually?  I won't get a new TU report until next Feb.  Can this be true?

Yes, I believe each CK update is a new soft inq,  but CK is TU and not really familiar with split files on them, usually that's EQ.
