EQ. Are they Investigating or what??

I posted this yesterday but didn't get a response I am a little confused here.

Weird, Green card back from EQ today. Also got a complete investigation request form from EQ and giving me a confirmation # so that I can dispute online.

Enclosed is a copy of your EQ credit file. Please review it for any unauthorized accounts or inquiries. If unauthorized information is reporting on your EQ credit file, you may start an investigation immediately online at www.investigate.equifax.com  Using the internet to initiate an online investigation request will expedite the resolution of your concerns.

We have reviewed your concerns and our conclusions are: The disputed focus rec mana is not currently reporting on your credit file.

So they send me a form same day they get my green card and want me to submit dispute online? Seems weird also why did they investigate one of the accounts though and delete it.

Plus when I enter the confirmation number online that they gave me it says a dispute was started 2/7/2008 and will be completed by 3/7/2007.

So are they investigating or do I have to also complete the dispute online?

The account sounds like it is not reporting on your credit file, so there is nothing to dispute.

If you had more than one dispute in your letter they are still disputing it. The reason you got a report is to show that the original dispute was removed.

ya i disputed many things. ok so i guess they are invesigating my disputes then and must have been easy to delete the one dispute. i was going to use their confirmation number and start an online dispute but didn't want to if they are already investigating

They are already investigating. If you add to what they are already investigating you will add more time to the completion date, so just leave it alone for right now.
