Man Receives 2000 Credit Cards In Mail

Man Receives 2000 Credit Cards In Mail

A New York man received two-thousand credit cards from Exxon Mobil. But he says he only requested two.

Now he's stuck with the task of destroying them all.

According to a New York newspaper, exxon says they don't know how Van Buren ended up with so many cards and plans to speak with its issuer, citibank.

Van buren says they have offered him a one hundred dollar credit for destroying the cards.

 An offer he unhappily accepted.

I over heard somewhere that it costs the issuer about $5 per credit cards issued. Do you think that could be a $10,000 loss for Citibank?

What if they all show up on his CR?
