Quick Question....

I just got my one of my reports and it's saying I am like four years behind on payments. However it shows a zero balance and the account was paid off almost six years ago. How can that be? How can I have a zero balance and be showing +120 days late on a payment. I know for a fact this account was paid in full and closed. I have the documents to prove as well as the check showing it was cashed. Thanks for any advice anyone can provide. -David

Re: Quick Question....

Thanks and I understand the dispute process. But seriously is this just an error that it would say I am late last month and for the last four months as well? I mean I know 100% that the account was paid in full and closed. How can there be an error this big on your report?

I was suggesting that errors frequently do happen on CRs, which is why we spend so much time disputing them.  And each CRA makes its own errors, just to make it more fun  Smiley Happy
