Conditions Question...Help!

After nine days in underwriting we finally received a call from our LO! We are approved! Thank God!

Our LO said the commitment letter and conditions are being printed today and he will go over with me today or Monday.   My question is what conditions have you had or have you heard off.  Just want to prepare myself.

Doing a search for conditions on this board will yield hundreds of things. Conditions can be anything from additional bank statements to paying off certain liabilities or sourcing certain funds. Usually nothing too difficult to get past.

Agreed. Conditions will only be as hard as your lack of preparedness for them. I had 7 conditions (some have 20+) and they ranged from sourcing some deposits to why i don't claim both children on my taxes. Its essentially up to the UW as to what they want. Good Luck.

I've had two rounds of requests for conditions so far, and it was mostly documentation of assets and/or income. Oh, and little things like verifying my address history and actually opening an a savings account with my lender, who is a credit union. Some of the things they asked for I had already submitted to other people ealier in the process, so I just submitted them again to keep things moving. I figure, submit it to the person who asks for it and don't leave anything up to other people, lol. Nothing they asked for was too hard to come by, so if you are pretty organized to begin with, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Good luck to you!
