Hey all. With a goal of 720 and a current score at about 640, I want to get more available credit. Is a score of 640 adequate to apply for another card? I have been stalling any activity while bringing my score up from a low of 538. Is it time now where I can apply and be guaranteed more credit? The cards I currently have are the basic "high risk" variety. I really would like cards that are viewed by lenders as desirable. Additionally, which cards look the best on a credit report and are easy to qualify for a high credit limit?
