Quick question

So I called my Mortgage Broker today to get an update and he told me that the bank is trying to change my rate from 3.6 to 3.7 and charge me 1 point. He says that he isn't going to accept so there is a stall now. My question is isn't that supposed to be a decision for me to make. What if I want to just pay the point and get this thing done with, or should I just sit back and let him do his thing? I just don't want to get denied because of other people's egos. I really ready to move out of here. My wife is 9 months pregnant and I refuse to bring a baby back to this apartment. Ok I'm done now.

Re: Quick question

I dont' think you're going to get denied over this issue regardless. I think worst case scenario is you wind up having to pay the point.  I certainly would express what you just typed her to your broker though to make it clear there's a time issue here.

Re: Quick question

At this point I'm ready to just tell him to take the 3.7 and 1 point and just get it ver with. I want to close already.
