No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I essentially treat my credit cards as a debit card. I charge on CC then stub the charge in Microsoft Money (don't judge me) then still in MM I transfer the funds from my checking to the cc account in a future dated payment. If I make more charges I simply add that amount to the pending payment. This means my checkbook balance had already "paid" for the charge. Then when I am ready I push the payment from my checking to the CC, and change that future dated payment to that days date.

Paying in cash is good option to pay off your bills. But, using credit card wisely will provide you rewards, cashback & helps in building Good Credit Score. This also helps to save money to fulfill your needs.

Well done! I have been listening to Dave Ramsey and all the millionaires he has come on the show and I have to say some of what he says makes a lot of sense. My goal is to have only one cc for cash back purposes and no debt. Good luck on the rest of your journey. P.S. I am in the financial industry and banks are preparing to have branch personnel eventually just do sales and no more teller line/cash transactions. However there will probably always be atms so you’ll still be able to do what you want. It’s amazing to think how the way finances or handled changes so constantly.
Capital One has switched a lot of their branches near me to this model. I do not care for it as a consumer as 90% of my teller interactions are to get quarters for laundry, and the ATMs do not give coins. Also the remaining branches now have longer lines as all the business customers making in person deposits are consolidating.

Yes! BOA has maybe 1 or 2 teller's where I go and there has been a push by them for us to use ATM but those same ATM's while they make life easy for some of us we do need coins and stuff agreed for our laundry.
