Charge-off's and Collections will really hold you back for the entire 7 years. Scores can improve marginally. Keep everything paid, on time, everytime. Work on getting PFD's. Work on goodwill's.
Do not apply for a lot of credit!!!!! Not even shopping cart cards!!! Patience is key here.
