So I had a very old First Premier account that was set to fall off of my report in February 2013. I settled with them for less than the full amount a few years ago, anyway while reading this wonderful forum I came across the 5 year reporting rule for NY residents. I decided to give it a try even though the account was settled for less than the full amount. I sent them an email requesting they remove this account off of my reports since the acct was paid and it has been over 5 years. I didn't get a response but when I checked my reports a few days later it was GONE! You guys are the best!
