Focus Financial Service/Medical Collection

I have a medical collection on my CR from 2009, due to a cancer diagnosis.  I had to have surgery, and received a letter in the mail from a collection agency in 2010, stating that the account was now in collection.  I paid the account in full, but it is still dinging my credit reports with all 3 agencies.  I have written a GW letter to them asking them to delete it from my credit report, but received all 3 CR stating that the account has been verified and the information is correct.....WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?  Trying to lease a car, and was told that this collection would hinder me getting a lease.

Send another GW to them.  Maybe look for a VP or CEO or someone up the ladder.  There is also the HIPPA method since it was a medical collection.  Not allowed to discuss that here but you can google it.  Good Luck!
