Hippa Process (dead end)?

Working with the (3) CRA's and all these letters is getting confusing so I'm posting a seperate thread in order to keep it simplified.

At this time I have done the following with TU (2 paid medicals - paid to CA) and EX (5 paid medicals - paid to CA):

Step #1 - opt out
Step #2 - update personal info
Step #3 - pre-Hippa Dispute letter

Scenario #3 - Alternative Med DV Letter to the CA

Follow up dispute letter to the CRA's w/ copies of Alternative Med DV Letter to the CA with copies of green card.

Which step would I take next, no deletions have happened as of yet with either TU or EX?

Re: Hippa Process (dead end)?

How long ago did the CA and TU receive the Alt DV letter and the follow-up dispute letter?

Re: Hippa Process (dead end)?

Fused,

CA received 9/04/08

CRA received 9/15/08.

Only one response back from CA stating as I posted above, bascially paid in full.

CRA's both responded back as follows:

Transunion Letter dated 9/16/08 as follows:

Thank you for contacting Transunion.  Our goal is to maintain complete and accurate information on consumer credit reports.  We have provided the information below in respose to your request.

Re:  Verification Documents not Available.

Experian response received in mail 9/25/08:

Complete Credit Report 20 pages long showing details of every account along with payment history and all personal information as well as a dispute page and consumer rights page.

I've completed the hippa step process to the best of my knowledge.  Any further advice is very much appreciated.

Re: Hippa Process (dead end)?

I assume you have kept excellent records for all of the hard work you have done? You will need to prove you have made very serious attempts to have this collection paid and deleted from your credit reports.

Re: Hippa Process (dead end)?

I have a copy of all letters as well as all certified mail receipts for every single paid medical item I have in my TU's and EX's credit file.

Looking back I wish I had tackled one CRA at a time, it's been very confusing but I've manged to keep good records.  I'm an accounting manager and realtor ....haha I better have good records!

It seems so far the hippa process has worked with EQ, but I haven't had much luck with EX and TU in removal of any paid medical collections.

Is my only choice now with this is to file a complaint with the OCR as well?

I know what you mean, this whole credit clean-up thing consumes you. I can't sleep I don't eat much and I'm constantly checking my CR for change.
