In your experience?

I faxed over validation letters to all 3 CB on Monday morning. EX and TU immediately put notes up saying the accounts were disputed. EQ has not done so, yet. The accounts in question were then removed within days of the notes being added.

I am curious in your experience, once these items have been removed, are they gone forever? I know there is a slight chance they could slap them back onto my CR. All the accounts were close to, at, or past the 7 year mark. None of them were with the OC.

I would think that once they put "disputed" in the notes.....they would not delete, until verified?

Also does EQ normally lag behind the others? I know they have 30 days, but EX and TU were on it with a quickness. Plus EQ has not put any notes regarding the dispute, which worries me.

I have seen the score jump 100+ points in the past week, and would hate to have a major let down........

Re: In your experience?

They can re-insert accounts deleted due to a dispute, but there is guidelines they must follow under FCRA to be able to do so and to prevent innaccurate accounts being added back.

They must notify you in writing within 5 days of doing so.

I don't know how often it actually happens.
