Question For All Members.....

Hi....I am new to these forums and I would like to ask a question to all of you out there. My current EQ FICO is 605. I have no BK's, public records nor repo's. I have one credit card...1500 limit with zero balance. I also have an auto loan that is 60 months with zero late payments and current through 48 months. However, I do have six collection accounts all within the last two years from medical bills. These bills came to be as a result of an auto accident....not my fault. Point being, my attorney has gotten all six of these collections deleted from my EQ report. When EQ updates and all accounts are removed, what type of jump should I see in my FICO? I don't want to pay for a FICO report until the bureau has has a chance to completely update. Thank you for all your help......

Re: Question For All Members.....

We can't estimate that, but it should be a decent jump.  On the other hand, you might be put in a new bucket with having no collections on your report and your score could actually drop a little bit for a short while.

Starting Score: 11/29/12 TU 527; EQ 565; EX 564 fako - bk7 dc'd 2/15/13
Current Score: 1/22/15 TU 645; EQ 605; EX 633 New goal 675
Cap1 sec $1k (SD) / Fingerhut $2k / Flagship $12k / cashRewards $12k / NavChek $15k / Amazon $2k / Von Maur $1k / Firestone $2.2k / BCU $3k / NFL $1k / QS1 $750 / Target $400 / PPSC $800 / Conoco $700 (last app 09/29/14)

Re: Question For All Members.....

FICO scores are so hard to predict.  But, if those are your only negatives and they all get deleted you should see a significant increase.

Re: Question For All Members.....

Hi Guinness.....yep those are my only negatives. I know it's hard to estimate....but I'm hoping for 680. I think it might be in reach. Thanks for the kind welcome.....

Re: Question For All Members.....

You have the potential to see that if they are all deleted.

Here is a thread on rebucketing that can explain it better than I can:
