RJM PFD....

I've read a lot of threads on here that RJM is very PFD friendly.  I have 2 accounts I'd like to do this on.

Can someone pm me or reply to this email with general wording you used that worked?  Also is it best to email them or snail mail them?  I prefer not to do it over the phone, I get nervous talking to CA's...hmm wonder why haha.

THANK YOU!

Hi, I've had success with RJM for each of the PFD's that I've requested. I did mine via snail mail, but the last time my PFD expired I needed an extention and called them and asked them to send me another invoice so that I could enclose payment and they sent one with the same terms and were very friendly. I think calling or emailing them will be fine, as long as you ask them to send you an invoice with those terms so that you can enclose payment. If I had an email address at the time I did it, I would have used that method. Otherwise, good ole fashioned mail works too.

I just used a standard PFD at the time (that I got from this site).

Hope you're successful!

Re: RJM PFD....

I ended up faxing a PFD to them on Friday evening (around 4:30pm PST).

I just received an email that they would accept payment of $45 (on an $85.10 debt) as payment in full.  Here is their wording:

RJM Acquisitions LLC ("RJM") is pleased to accept the sum of $45.00 in full satisfaction of the

above referenced account.

Please pay by February 26, 2012.

When you finish paying, this account will be satisfied in full.

Please enclose the bottom portion of this letter along with your payment.

YOU CAN PAY BY: Check, Money Order, VISA/MasterCard (Debit or Credit), American Express,

Western Union Quick Collect, or with Cash using PayNearMe at a 7-Eleven Store.

RJM is the owner of this account.

This is an attempt to collect a debt. Any information obtained will be used for that purpose.

HOWEVER nowhere does it mention removing from credit reports.

What next?  Pay in trust or send another letter asking for proof they will delete?

Reply to the email as a reply with the PFD....

My credit journey has completed. I am currently sitting at 800+ across the board.

I started my journey here years ago, and thanks to MyFico, it really is possible.
