Recently Reported CO From Years Ago vs. CO Not Reported For Several Years From Years Ago

Does it make any difference if an account is CO'd and then the OC never updates, or if the CO is reported every month? My wife has both on her report. One account was CO'd in 2004 (April, I believe) and they never reported again, whereas one account is reporting a CO every month. If I get rid of only one (with a PFD), will it be more helpful to get rid of the one reporting each month, or does it not matter?

Re: Recently Reported CO From Years Ago vs. CO Not Reported For Several Years From Years Ago

55 views and no replies!  Have I stumped the FICO experts?

My common sense tells me that the one reporting monthly carries more weight, so I will try to PFD them again.  They sent me a settlement offer of %25 ($53.79), to which I replied that I'd give them the $50 if instead of marking it as paid (or settled, I forget right now) they deleted.  I got no response, so maybe I should offer them 33% ($72).

I'm not stumpedSmiley Happy, get rid of the CO that is reporting monthly only if it's not the oldest TL.
