To make a long story short a fraudulent business wronged me and placed the debt in collection with TRS.
Started out as short and sweet collection letter, and since it's not reporting I decided to place it in the ignore pile.
Well about a month later I get another letter in the mail, this one is nasty because it nows says I can't write a check anywhere or open a bank account.
Not sure what to do. A DV would be useless because the debt is mine, but I don't feel like paying it as the company tacked on a bunch of fees and changed due dates to make me purposely late.
