Hi
I got notified on friday that EOS CCA was deleting one of my 3 collections. Is there any way to check for free that they really did that already?
I dont want to pay to pull them again and find out it hasnt been done, then have to pay again later to check.
Whoops. I meant CA in the title, not CO.
Yes, if you have not used your free annual pull through annualcreditreport.com within the last 12 calendar months.
No if you have used it within the past 12 months.
The free pull applies separately to each CRA, so if you have used with one, but not another, and they have reported to the other, you could check at least that other CRA.
Also if it was a CA that had a balance you could use credit karma for free and see if it is on there or removed but its only for TU.
I already used my annualcreditreports...
I have CreditKarma but it isnt showing as deleted and I dont know how to refresh it, really... does it refresh automatically when you log in or what?
I don't know how long it takes for a deleted item to come off, this is the first time I've had it happen but I am confused on how I'm supposed to verify it was actually deleted or not and how long it normally takes for them to come off.
I'm trying to figure out if I should sign up for something else to monitor them more closely.... maybe creditchecktotal or the USAA one....?
click on my accounts and then you should see when it was last updated and i think there is a spot there to update...
when you log into Credit Karma
under the Credit Tab you will see Overview, credit score, credit report card:
You should also see you score over on the right of the screen and it will say
YOUR CREDIT SCORE IS 400 Credit Rating is Poor
Last Updated 1/1/13 ( example) and below or next it you will see a tab or link to update score.. click it.
ah...i see now.
Next update available on Feb 22, 2013
So i guess it wont let me update it until the 22nd.
Looks like you are in the new beta version of them only letting us update 1 time a wk. ugghhhh wonder how ong it will be before the switch us all over to weekly updates.
I know there are some other free places but not sure if they do daily update or weekly. Looks like I need to be looking elsewhere as well!
i use the usaa for the daily but it is expensive.
there is a 7 day trial on experian for $1
it will pull experian credit report
