How do i customize my avatar?

I want to upload my own picture as my Avatar... how do i do that?

Goal: 700 and an Amex Card!

There's a minimum requirement that has to be met before that option is available. It changed not long ago, but centers around the amount of time on here and number of posts read and made. In the past, that requirement was around 500 posts.
