School Closed

If a school close's while your attending,do you have to pay back a student loan.

Do you know if this a difficult process.

My school was not listed in the school closing data base,

Im trying to fill out the form but cant remember the exact dates

It was back in 1990 or 91.

Just a couple of consideration before you attempt this route -

 

1. The credit earned must need be eligible to transfer to another school..  Thus if you plan on pursuing the same degree, you will be classified as a 1st semester and would have to re take any credits that may have actually earned from the closed school.

 

2. If any of the money was used to support your living expenses during the time period that you borrowed - will still be owed
