Question on Inquiries

So I have been in the process of buying a house and had my credit pulled 3 times ( according to EQ ):

August 21, 2009 Factl Dta

August 18, 2009 Factl Dta

August 04, 2009 Factl Dta

My credit pulled 3 times ( according to EX ):

August 21, 2009 Factl Dta

August 18, 2009 Factl Dta

August 04, 2009 Factl Dta

My credit pulled 3 times ( According to TU ):

August 21, 2009 4406cornerstonemor/Fdc

August 18, 2009 4406cornerstonemor/Fdc

August 04, 2009 4406cornerstonemor/Fdc

My question is, how many of these pulls will actually stay on my credit reported because I was under the impression that if you had all your credit pulls within a certain amount of time for the same thing, it would only count as 1 credit pull...

Re: Question on Inquiries

All the inquires will stay on the report. When the FICO scoring model looks those inquiries for a mortgage it will count them as just one inquiry.

Re: Question on Inquiries

Just be aware that if you apply for any other credit, like a credit card, most computer evaluations will not know to count these as mortgage inqs, and you might get denied for too many inquiries. If you decide to app for a card, be prepared for this to happen and to call the lender, gently explaining to the CSR that you didn't buy three houses, just one, and that these are the same inquiries as would be generated by an appaholic on a binge.
