Pages take MINUTES to load

I am a new user, and very frustrated that each page is taking minutes to load.

All other sites load in a fraction of a second, even these forums load instantly, but the Myfico pages all

 begin to load and then stall, if I cancel the load I am left with a Graphical Blank page, "the sites background image" but nothing on the page loads. If I am patient and wait, each page eventually loads, but I am serious  it takes at least 2 minutes per page. I have tried the "Compatability Mode" in IE8 and that makes no difference.

Am I the only one?

Sounds like you're IE, right?

Have you ever tried it through Firefox? Mine load immediately, unless I'm having connection issues.

(Not to say that it shouldn't work correctly via IE; just curious if it's equally bad with FF.)
