Run away!
Personal feelings aside, I'm not sure who they pull. I think there's a couple of Americredit approvals on the car loan approval thread (or whatever it is called).

Trust me I dont want to deal with them. But I am limited in choices. We need to get a good auto loan to report so we are looking for subprime lender take out the loan pay 3-6 months and then pay it off that way we will have a paid auto. I have checked the credit unions here we are eligible for and none report to all three bureaus. Our current auto loan only reports to TU and I forgot to check into that before we took out the loan.
Why do you want an auto loan to report?
I can't speak for the dealer's mindset on whether or not they like to see a paid or unpaid car note reporting. Certainly everyone received their first car loan without having one report first. But per your FICO score, having that car loan report may hurt your score much more than it would ever help. Plus per FICO scoring, it only counts if you're carrying a balance on that loan.

They pulled TU for me last June (dealer shotguned me to 8 lenders) and yes they do report to all three. I had a loan with them in the past. I am one of the rare few who had no problems with them that I didn't create (late payments and such). Tread carefully with these folks though and read ALL the fine print.

I burnt Cap 1 on a credit card so thats not an option. I am just wanting to improve our credit score for the long term for future home and auto purchases. I know it would hurt short term but I am looking at long term and paid autos help on your auto enhanced FICO and look good on manual reviews.
But at either rate I found a good deal and have the cash so we are just buying outright on this one. Later when our credit is improved more we will finance our next car and should get a better rate then.
Thanks for the advice though guys.
