After being given the run around by PenFed (told I was approved twice, then suddenely wasn't approved), I NFCU earned my business...
Applied Tuesday evening, got a request for copies of paystub on Wednesday, had a blank draft in my hand on Saturday. I did everything online, and other than waiting for the SM back and forth, it was a great experience. I called CS twice with questions, and each time the first person I talked to was pleasant and was able to get the answers I needed right away. Of course, every interaction with NFCU goes this way for me, which is why I like them!
I only wish I could prequalify for a lease through them instead!

Update:
I got the credit disclosure in the mail today.
They have me down as a 682, which looks like my Fico Auto 5 score. Of course, that is the lowest score of all my available credit scores from MyFico by about 25 points.

My wife loves her Durango R/T and I should probably not be allowed to drive it without supervision. Now if I could just swing the SRT....
Congrats on the new ride!

Congrats on the new ride!
My wife and I split the test drive, and she loved it, too. A lot more oompf than her 4 cylinder Sorento.
Defintely an upgrade from my '09 Escape, too. ![]()

Congrats on the new purchase OP. The Durango is a pretty slick ride. I'm really digging Dodge these days. I bought my new Scat Pack Charger R/T a couple of months ago and loving every minute of it. Enjoy that nice new ride!
