Auto APR question

I'm fairly new to the forum and just need some advice. We are actively shopping for a new truck. Does anyone have any clue as to what APR we can expect with a 659 and a 619, comparable on both reports. We also have a trade in so should have about $6500-7000 down. We have about 60% utilization at the time, because we just moved to MT in June and we have no late payments since August 2008, so our recent history is great. We have no collections with balances, also.

Thanks!

Re: Auto APR question

If your Auto Enhanced score is also over 650 you might be able to find some decent rates but that's going to depend on what your looking at buying?

Re: Auto APR question

We are looking at a 2011 Chevy Slverado Crew Cab Z71. We have narrowed down to a few between 31 and 33k, but have a trade in valued anywhere from $6800-9000, although we are only expecting about $7000 for it. Really, anything in the single digits would be a victory for us after the hard work we have out in getting our stuff straightened up.

Re: Auto APR question

I think posts in the past show Chevy going down to 650ish to tier 3 you and offer promo financing... which I would assume is probably 0 for 60 months?

Re: Auto APR question

That's what we are hoping for and hopefully the cash down will help! Thanks for all of your information~!

Re: Auto APR question

also just seeing your name... if you have Access to Navy Federal... I would call them up real quick... they can probably have approval for you in just a couple hours unless they want income verification etc... then you could be going to Chevy with a Rate in hand that they would need to beat for you to use them instead of Navy (Which is currently offering as low as 1.9%)
