MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: I had no idea what to expect. I've been cleaning up my credit and paying off my balances in getting ready to buy a new car. I bone-headeadly missed a payment on my BofA credit card (100% unintentional and didn't get a call or alert email from BofA or anything. I was shocked and mortified but of course my GW went nowhere with them) and it decimated my score by about 100 points. I applied on Wednesday night and got the "We'll get back to you email" and I thought I was a goner. About 2 minutes later I had an approval email of up to 40K with a rate of 3.57! I was shocked and thrilled. I guess old St. Jude was listening. Just another FYI: Acura couldn't beat the rate but they pulled Experian auto enhanced and I had a 660. Also, weirdly, I've never had an auto loan before but my auto enhanced scores are much higher than my regular FICO scores. After that September 30 day late hit me, it left me with a 610.
