MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Traded in a 2016 Corolla S Plus--I bought it in March of 2019 for $16K OTD, put down $5500 and financed $10,600 with Ally on a 48 month term with a 10.99% APR (I had a 580 credit score at the time). Made 14 on time payments and then refinanced with Chase at 6.5% APR. The payoff quote with Chase as of yesterday was $3,900. I also slapped on a good 18K miles since I bought it. Well, with the shortage going on, I thought I would price my car out and low and behold, Toyota offered me a whopping $15,200 (Sticker price was $14,600 in 2019) for my Corolla and I was at the dealership in an hour. Ended up having ~$11K in equity after payoff so I put that down. But super excited!!!
@Schoolbuskid I'm wondering if I can get that kind of deal . . . may be looking for auto loan soon.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Custom V90 T6 Polestar Inscription off lease trade in (not a Cross Country). This was owned by one of those rare birds that traveled to Sweden to customize this car. It has every imaginable option and an unlimited milage, 10 year Volvo CPO and extended warranty. Rate includes True Car Discount of .5% and BCU discount for having a card and $500 DD. Loan was an absolute piece of cake. We financed a couple cars there before our credit downfall. She has a perfect history with BCU. We have driven older, used paid off cars since 2003, this will be a change.

This is an updated Re-Finance of my new Tesla purchased through NFCU last Sept 2020 to decrease the rate from 4.69% to 2.99% and lower my payment for DTI reasons. I did not even know Lending Club did auto loans, but hey, here ya go...
Very painless process, soft-pull pre-qualify starting rate and payment everything, very slick. No POI was requested, but I have had 4-5 prior loans paid off with LC so already have great history there, YMMV.
As for the Tesla, still lovin it, the car is fantastic.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: My F-150 was becoming a money pit. They gave me $5k for it with 70k miles on it. Honestly surprised to get captive financing and happy! Had to get a Tier bump to get the 6.0%. Paid for an extended warranty. Overall, very stoked.
