MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: 2 open collection accounts and lates from last year have the credit score low currently. Capital One beat every credit union I tried which was surprising, but I have a few products with them and have been with them for a while so that could have been the reason. No markups/add-ons, below MSRP; negotiated on OTD. Paying off in 3 years or sooner. So very grateful!

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Will be selling my Jeep to my daughter in July when she comes back stateside from overseas so decided to shop around now to see if anything catches my attention. Decided on a 2020^ BMW 3-Series or an Audi A5 Sportback. Didn't find nothing here or even 50 miles from where we live so opened up my search to nationwide. Found the perfect car for me with everything I wanted with extremely low mileage in Maryland. Did the deal through e-mail/text, they sent paperwork overnight for me to sign, sent paperwork back. Once they received everything, they submitted dealer funding request to my bank and were able to ship the car out to me the very next day. The car arrived the very next day (on a Sunday)!! So the entire deal took a little less than 1 week!! And it was the most seamless car deal I have ever did. Car is in mint condition and I am a very happy man!!

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: The DH was needing a newer truck, as his old Dodge was a 2008 model with 225K+ miles and it was showing it's age. I've been sorta looking for a newer truck for him for a bit and saw this one and we decided to grab it. They gave $3K in trade on his old truck which we used towards the loan. The loan was done jointly, as I make more than my DH and he's also listed on the loan for the suburban. I was very surprised RBFCU pulled a Vantage score, which is always lower for me. Oh, well.
Edited: They pulled EX not EQ.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Rebuild was a success! This was the goal when I started my rebuild last year. I was a bit surprised at the score pulled as I was in the 720 range when I pulled my 3B last month. I wasn’t really planning to buy now but the combination of features (fully loaded), lack of miles and color was too good to pass up. Plus my current vehicle was approaching the mileage when big repairs could happen. Don’t love the rate but didn’t have all my ducks in a row and didn’t think the car would be on the lot long so didn’t want to wait. Will look to refinance with DCU or PenFed (existing relationships) soon for a shorter term but better rate.

I was able to get this refinanced through DCU @ 5.49%/65 months.
Seriously, cannot recommend them enough. I did have to pay down the loan balance to $44K but well worth it in the longrun. FYI they will give an additional 0.25% for hybrids/electric vehicles and also give you 60 days before your first payment.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: $3k down and rolled $7k negative equity. Credit union would only finance 100% LTV but will refinance in 6 months with them for around 7% APR. This is a second car loan with my name only. It's for my girlfriend and our baby. Other than the temperarily high interest, had 0 issues getting a second loan. My other car is 6% APR with USAA, if curious. I'm sure the high income helped but I'm 25, so my credit history isn't too thick yet. I have about 4 charge off credit cards settled for less with the last one being paid 4 months ago.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Been looking for a truck for the last year and a half to 2 years. My job I can't really call out because of bad weather and I was tired of driving a grandma car. Finally found a truck I liked that I could afford. Probably over payed by a little bit but idc at this point. Put down 15k. No pre payment penalty so will pay it off probably within a year or two to avoid as much interest as possible. Could of bought it I'm cash but wanted to keep a decent emergency fund. Any questions ask away
