Auto Loan DTI trade in

Sorry if this is a dumb question I could not find it in the search.

Currently my DTI is 35% with my current auto loan. If I apply for DCU or PenFed do they take into account that I'll be trading in my car? Or will they assume that I'll have 2 car payments, approving me for a smaller amount.

Capital One auto nav was denied because I choose their Covid-19 payment deferral for 1 month on my current loan.

Not sure about those 2, but Navy asked during the app if I would be trading in a car. They approved for $49.5 on a $70k salary.
