Chase doesn't update balance -normal?

HEY!

Anyone have a Chase auto loan?  Do you happen to make multiple payments per month?

I'm new to Chase and my very first car payment is due August 6th.

I make weekly payments to all my bills.  Every 4 weeks, everything due is paid in full.  I like it this way and it works for me.

I have 3 other car loans and they all update the "amount due" after I make my little weekly minipayments.  But not Chase.  I've paid $495 in the last 3 weeks but it still says I owe my full payment amount.  The payments are posted and show up under payment activity so they seem to have been applied right.  They are not principal payments, and they show interest taken out.  But I've never seen an account not update like this and I was wondering if it's normal.  I only owe another $120 for this month's payment due August 6.  But it still says I owe $620.

I don't want my first month's payment to be late or not made when I did pay it.  Do you think it will update to paid after I make this last payment?  I even googled making multiple small payments to Chase, and Chase encourages the behavior (though they focused on biweekly, not every week like I'm doing).

Chase updates as of each statement date. At least that's how it is for Chase/Subaru.
